Craft Beer on the Coast

The coast's the craft beer scene is HOT (or should we say cool?!). After a long day of visiting the shops downtown, enjoying some time on the beach, or after a long bike ride, what better way to cool off and relax then to enjoy some stellar local beers?!

Just down the street from The Inn is Crooked Letter Brewery (5 minute walk), they have over 12 beers which are brewed on-sight for you you to sample and enjoy on their lovely deck that is shaded by oak trees. This brew pub also serves cocktails, wine & has a full food menu. Crooked Letter was the very FIRST brewery in town, so they have hold a special place in the hearts of all the locals.

Chandeleur Island Brewing Company is quickly become known nationally for their outstanding brews! You can tell that their passion for brewing great beer is driving them to offer some of the best craft beers around. Their tap room is in Gulfport (30 min drive), but you will find their beers on tap in our downtown restaurants. One of our favorites is the H90 Surf Side Pineapple Wheat- they describe it best by saying, "Enjoy with sunshine.", and we have plenty of that!

Take a quick 3 min drive down the street from The Inn, and you will find our first Nano-Brewery, Hops & Growlers! The brew master Scott, has been coming up with innovative ideas for years, and Ocean Springs is thrilled he has chosen Government Street to launch his tap room! This tiny gem is making some of the most interesting beers around. They will also fill a growler for you to take home, which makes the perfect souvenir!

Just over the bridge you will find Biloxi Brewing Company-"Craft Beer for the Coastal Life". They are currently offering a Coastal Life Series featuring their second release, Black Gold Breakfast Blend, which is brewed with whole coffee beans locally sourced from Coast Roast in Long Beach, MS, it doesn't get much more local than that!

And of course, we have you covered if you are really looking to just kick back and enjoy your stay at The Inn, stop into our cafe and you will find some tasty & refreshing local craft beers! Cheers!
